In neuroscience research, current imaging tools cannot access deep brain regions without major tissue damage or loss of resolution. Techniques like multiphoton microscopy reach only ~1 mm depth, while GRIN lenses are too invasive for routine use. This limits studies on neural plasticity, learning, and disease. A minimally invasive, high-resolution method for deep-brain imaging is urgently needed to advance neuroscience and brain-disorder research.

The system includes a compact benchtop unit, intuitive software, and single-use fibre probes. It allows neuroscientists to visualise structure and activity in previously inaccessible brain regions—advancing research on learning, memory, and disease.
