Ticbiomed is a Spanish association that promotes open innovation across Europe. We specialise in helping demanders of innovation to identify and polish their unmet needs. Our team also assists them to connect with innovative suppliers, and then support their co-creation of new solutions (we are especially good when the needs come from the Healthcare sector). Finally, we care that the end user-developer collaboration is as smooth and productive as possible.

Something that differentiates us is our emphasis on the adoption of successful innovations. We are committed to maximising the chances that those innovative solutions that work get deployed. That is, that they survive the valley of death of pilots, and are up taken and scaled. First within the organization that demanded the innovation, and then within other potential customers. ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network of more than 2500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development and is active in 125+ countries. ICLEI Europe supports local governments in implementing the European Green Deal, the overarching EU strategy for climate neutrality, to build more resilient and equitable communities.

ICLEI has been working on sustainable public procurement since 1996, assisting hundreds of cities, regions and public authorities. The Sustainable and Innovation Procurement team at ICLEI Europe focuses on promoting Green Public Procurement to help public authorities reduce their environmental impact through the purchase of sustainable goods and services. ICLEI is committed to advancing Innovation Procurement, both through novel tendering procedures such as pre-commercial procurement and Public Procurement of Innovation solutions to harness competitiveness and the dual green and digital transition in cities.
