Our spotlight today shines on LIOS!
Teaming up with global insulation leader Kingspan as their committed buyer, the pilot is integrating SoundBounce, an eco-friendly soundproofing material designed for modern construction. Made from natural, sustainable sources, this lightweight alternative replaces traditional, heavy insulation materials without sacrificing performance. LIOS’s project aims to make buildings quieter and more comfortable, all while helping the construction industry lower its environmental footprint.
Check out the LIOS interview below and their hopes for the future.

What are your expectations as your solution moves into the assessment phase? And your lessons learned?
As we move into the assessment phase, we are expecting to align with the buyer on the following:
Ramping production
Reviewing pilot production
Adoption
At this stage of the programme our lessons learned are to simplify the manufacturing process, including a process for IP protection and NDAs
How has InnoMatch helped you achieve your business goals? What have you valued the most so far?
InnoMatch has supported us in taking a proof of concept to the pilot stage for the construction sector, where we hope we can continue to build on this client relationship and take it further. We have used InnoMatch as an opportunity to kickstart our pilot production, with our first SoundBounce ceiling tiles being produced as a result of the programme.
What does success look like for you beyond this pilot and the InnoMatch programme?
We wish to continue to work with Kingspan on enhancing their insulation portfolio with our advanced acoustic material. We have a lot to offer by way of a material that excels at sound attenuation, and Kingspan are established global leaders in building materials. We can complement their product portfolio with our award-winning technology and achieve, not only our mission in creating a quieter world, but also Kingspan’s to accelerate a net-zero emission built environment, with our sustainable advanced acoustic material.
Furthermore, by being able to use Project SCOUT as a case study for SoundBounce in the construction sector, we hope to unlock interest from other building materials suppliers in licensing our technology on a global scale.
