
Introducing the Matchmaking Sessions
Our project is driving forward innovation procurement by connecting EIC Awardees with key buyers. We’re currently running an open call, OC1 EIC Awardee + Buyer, and we’re now expanding our efforts!
About the sessions:
InnoMatch is organising a series of matchmaking sessions designed to build strong connections and collaborations. These sessions facilitate the match between buyer needs and innovative solutions. Key objectives include:
- Empowering EICs: Enabling EIC Awardees to gain a deep understanding of buyer needs and challenges, and to assess the suitability of their solutions.
- Building Strong Relationships: Providing EIC beneficiaries with the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions by pitching their solutions.
- Driving Collaboration: Fostering collaborations and boosting applications to the Open Call OC1 EIC Awardee + Buyer.
Our first matchmaking session is scheduled and open for registration. Following the next Buyers Capacity Building Series session on 20th March, which will address “What to expect and how to manage collaborations with innovation suppliers,” we will host our first matchmaking event.
This session will feature a reverse pitch format. Buyers will present their unmet innovation needs and EIC Awardees will then have the opportunity to express their interest in collaborating with a particular Buyer they can offer a tailored solution.
When:
20 March 2025, by 10:00 CET
Who can join:
Public or private organizations seeking innovative solutions, as well as individuals and organizations interested in mastering innovation procurement and an European Innovation Council (EIC) Awardees scouting out public and private Buyers to pilot and showcase their solutions.
Agenda:
1. Intro | Explain the matching process – 5 min
2. Challenge presentation | 30 min
-Buyers present their company/ organisation – 5 min
-Buyers present their unmet innovation need – 5 min
3. Expression of Interest moment – 15 min
–Time for the EIC Awardees to fill in the Expression of Interest form after each Buyer presentation and to express their interest in IM / F6S connecting them with a particular Buyer they can offer a tailored solution.
4. Closing – 5 min
